Aaron Lee (Ace) Stanley

Mr. Aaron Lee (Ace) Stanley, 75, passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2021 at High Point Medical Center.  He was born on November 29, 1945 in Martinsville, VA to Abe Walter Stanley and Clemmie Mae Hodges Stanley, both of whom preceded him in death.  He was a US Air Force veteran and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.  He retired from Drexel Heritage after 30+ years as an upholsterer. 

On April 12, 1968, he married Betty Hodges, who survives of the home; also surviving are his children, daughter, Angie Deaton (Charles) of Thomasville, sons, Tony Stanley (Renee) of Linwood and Greg Stanley (Amanda) of Raleigh; brothers, Bobby Stanley (Marie) of Stoneville, NC and Bill Stanley (Sonya) of High Point; grandchildren, Samantha Smith, Mason Stanley, and Andrew Stanley; and many extended family members.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at 12:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Dr. Andy Royals and Mr. George Hodges officiating.  Interment with military rites provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM.  Memorials may be directed to Woodlawn Baptist Church, 3201 N.
