Adonis Rayawn Purcell arrived on March the 7th 2026, a blessing placed softly into the arms of his parents Thomas and Shandel Purcell. He was a bundle of joy that blessed our family, we were excited the day he finally arrived. His life was filled to the brim with love, kisses, smiles, laughter and excitement. His siblings were overjoyed with excitement to the arrival of their new baby brother, Adonis. They will cherish the many songs and book readings they shared with him. He took his final rest in the arms of his loving parents Thomas and Shandel on Sunday April 5th 2026 at Thomasville Hospital. His life ended too soon and our family was not prepared to lose our precious baby. We are eternally grateful for the amount of time we were able to spend with him. Adonis will forever be cherished and remembered by his family. Our family is forever changed and forever grateful to have spent this brief but incredibly meaningful time with Adonis.
He is survived by his loving parents Thomas and Shandel, sister Nakhali and brother Delvon. Grandmother Anessa Johnson, Grandfather Delmontro Williams (Dorothy), Grandmother Dorothy Purcell, the lateThomas Purcell, aunts J'Naya Johnson and Grace Purcell (cousin Michael), uncles Kadin Muhammad and Jame Malik. And many loving great grandparents, great aunts, uncles, other family members.
