Aeron Jacob Elijah Horne

Aeron Jacob Elijah Horne, 17, a resident of Thomasville, passed away unexpectedly Monday night, May 5, 2025 in Thomasville.  Aeron was born June 11,2007, in Davidson County to Sharon Horne.  He attended East Davidson High School and brought light and laughter to all his friends there.  Aeron loved to fish and play video games.  He frequently took his Jeep mudding at Uwharrie Forest with his friends and family.  Aeron spoiled his nieces and nephews and was the “Yes” uncle to them.  He enjoyed life and will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him. 

Aeron is preceded in death by his grandfather, Tim Kindley; his great-grandmother, Louise Eller; and his uncle Little Robert Hancock. 

Surviving to cherish Aeron’s memory is his mother, Sharon Horne step-dad, Thomas Smith of Thomasville; his “Granny” Phylis Summey of Thomasville; his sister, Savannah Hicks and Cody Henderson of Lexington; his three brothers, Tyler Hicks of Lexington, Tristan Horne and Courtney of Thomasville, Trevor Horne of Asheboro; six nieces and nephews, Emma, Levi, Grayson, Salem, Brayden, Raelyn; Aunts and uncles, TJ Kindley and Toni Pearson, Lyndsay Kindley & Ethan Harrington, Diana and Damien Harrington. 

A Celebration of Life gathering to honor Aeron will be held Friday, May 9, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Friendly Gospel Baptist Church 212 Commercial Park Drive, Thomasville, NC.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com
