Aileen Elizabeth (Johnson) Meredith

Aileen Johnson Meredith, 96, of Thomasville passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at Thomasville Medical Center.

Aileen was born April 5, 1929 to the late Niven Johnson and Mamie Coggins Johnson of Davidson County. She was a member of Bethany United Church of Christ in Winston-Salem.

In addition to her parents, Aileen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Morris Meredith; a grandson, Barrett and three sisters, Dorothy Wagner, Juanita Burkhart and Lynda Stephens.

Surviving are her son, Curtis Meredith and wife Karen of Bahama; three grandchildren, Tyler, Addie and Carrie Ann (Austin); two great-grandchildren, Jackson and Jacob Lemmons.

A service will be held at a later date.
