Alice Stinson

Mrs. Alice Stinson, 63, a self-less and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and a resident of Free Pilgrim Church Rd., passed away on Monday, November 16, 2020 at High Point Medical Center.  She was born on August 17, 1957 in Davidson County, NC to Ray Calloway and Betty Alice Hill Calloway.  She worked at Parkdale Mills and was a member of Charity Baptist Church.  She had a strong Christian faith that she loved to show to everyone and she truly cared for others more than herself.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Foy Michael Stinson on October 13, 2009; and her sister, Roxann Lynn Brewer on August 15, 2017.

She will be greatly missed by her daughters, Angie Spivey and husband Mike and Penny Hammonds, all of Thomasville; her grandchildren, Amy Hedrick and husband Blake and Darin Spivey; her great-grandchildren, Boston Spivey, Baydin Hedrick, and Averleigh Hedrick; her nephews, Danny Brewer and wife Kelly and Scottie Brewer and wife Jessica; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Halee Brewer, Easton Brewer, Abigail Brewer, and Hunter Brewer; and her special cousins, Brenda Pastorick and Debbie McDowell.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Elton Wilborne officiating.  Mrs. Stinson will remain at the J.C.
