Alvin Eugene Watts

Mr. Alvin Eugene Watts, 71, of Thomasville passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday, September 12, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Alvin was born January 03, 1950 in Loudon County, TN to the late Edward Eugene Watts and Mary Elizabeth Harp Watts. Alvin worked many years as a Machine Operator. He enjoyed sitting back and relaxing while watching a good Western. Alvin also enjoyed the outdoors, whether it be fishing, horseback riding, riding four wheelers or motorcycles. He could fix anything, but specifically liked working on hot rods. He was such a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be greatly missed. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, George Houston Watts.

Surviving is his loving wife Brenda Kennedy Watts of the home; one son, Travis Eugene Watts (Brooke); two daughters, Amanda Collins (Rufus), Mary Hughes; one brother, James Austin Watts; nine grandchildren, Heather Watts, Angel Collins, William Collins, Jacob Collins, Lorissa Collins, Keri Watts, Zoe Watts, Devon Hughes, Faith Hughes; three great-grandchildren, Mia Davis, Maverick Hughes, Heaven Dawn Hughes; he also leaves behind his furry companion, Sadie.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 3:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bynum Orr officating.
