Alvis "Lewis" Murray

Alvis “Lewis” Murray, 27, of Thomasville passed away on February 10, 2021. Alvis was born February 24, 1993 to Alvis Murray and Kay Tanner in Guilford County. Lewis worked several years as a local in-home delivery for a delivery service. He enjoyed his job because he was able to travel to different places which he loved doing. He loved to stay busy but also relax at the beach. Lewis liked to eat, play on his phone and hang out with his friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Murray.

Surviving is his mother, Kay Tanner of the home; three brothers, Jeffery Tanner, Shane Tanner (Stacey), Michael Hardee; one sister, Katelyn Marie Murray; best friend, Kasey Amador; eight nieces and nephews, Destiny, Savannah, Jayden, Keelie, Kaylee, Addison, McKenzie and Makayla; he also leaves behind his special friends, Dwayne Wright, Brandon Wright, Tammy Bullins, Jennifer Burgardt, Jamie Wright and many other beloved friends.

A gathering of friends will be held Monday February 15, 2021 from 6:00 PM- 8:00PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
