Andrew Robert Hardy, 32, of Marshville, North Carolina, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026.

Born on May 20, 1993, in Canada, Andrew was the beloved son of Stephen Hardy and June Fawcett Hardy. He will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his unwavering loyalty to those closest to him, his sense of humor, and the life he built alongside the people he loved most.

Andrew proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve before dedicating himself to his family and career. Alongside his wife, Lauren Oelker Hardy, he co-owned and operated Sweet Peas Pet Salon in Marshville, where the two worked side by side for many years building both a business and a life together. Andrew was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help others, and the care he showed to friends, family, and everyone who knew him.

Above all else, Andrew was a devoted husband and father. He found his greatest joy in the family he built with Lauren and their four beautiful children: Lukas, Alaina, James, and Joey. His family was the center of his world, and his love for them was evident in everything he did.

Andrew leaves behind his loving wife and children; his parents, Stephen Hardy and June Fawcett-Hardy, and their partners, Jennifer Hardy and Mark Cefaretti; his sisters, Laura and Jillian Hardy; and his niece, Adalynn Hardy.

A celebration of Andrew’s life will be held Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Memorial United Methodist Church in Thomasville with Rev. Rodney Denton officiating. A second service celebrating Andrew’s life will be held Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Hamilton Crossroads Baptist Church in Marshville, North Carolina, where he made his home and built his life with his family.
