Angel Lee Kiker Posey, age 42, passed away on January 26, 2024 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born on April 30, 1981 in Mecklenburg County to Robin Wayne Kiker and Lyndia Lee Zakobielski Kiker. Angel was a nurse and truly enjoyed her profession and the sincere connections that were made with staff and patients. Angel loved her dogs Buster and Kugo, adored her pigs Cooper and Weasel, cherished hosting family and friends, always sought out an opportunity to cook for others, and was the most profound laugh in every room. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Lyndia Lee Zakobielski Kiker, her paternal grandparents, that made a monumental impact on Angel’s child and adulthood, Basil Wayne Kiker and Nancy Bartlett Kiker. Additionally, her Aunt Judy, whom she loved dearly. She has been reunited in Heaven with several people who were certainly happy to greet her at the gates.
Angel is survived by her father and stepmother, Robin Wayne Kiker and Robin Renae Kiker of Winston-Salem; brothers, Wayne Kiker, Eric Wheeler, and Dustin Davis; sister, Chelsea Kiker and her children Aiden (10) and Myles (8). Left to also lovingly remember Angel are many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her and her legacy will live on through the impacts she made on those who surrounded her.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Wallburg Chapel. Visitation will follow the service at the funeral home.
