Mrs. Annie “Ann” Ruth (Paul) Baker, 78, of Thomasville passed away on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born on April 9, 1942 to the late Colon and Sallie Paul in Robeson County, NC. Ann married Donald Ray Baker on August 16, 1958. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her four siblings, Myrtle, Shirley, Hellen and “Buddy” Colon, Jr.
Surviving is her husband of 62 years, Donald “Don” Baker of the home; two daughters, Ruthie Lynn Mangosing (Danny) of Williamsburg, VA, Cheryl Ann Mann of Newport News, VA; two sisters, Margaret Paul of Thomasville, Barbara Dixon of High Point; three grandchildren, Douglas “Scott” Mann of Hampton, VA, Daniel Mangosing, Matthew Mangosing both of Williamsburg, VA.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Luther Kirk officiating. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 1:45 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Salisbury National Cemetery at a later time.
