Anna Marie (Passmore) Stamey

Anna Marie Passmore Stamey, 59, of Thomasville went home to be with the Lord Saturday evening, August 30, 2025 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

Anna was born May 24, 1966 to the late Claude Passmore and Henrietta Carpenter Passmore in Davidson County. She worked for many years in the furniture industry as a bookkeeper. Anna will always be remembered for loving her dog “Lil Bit”, shopping, family, and most of all her Lord and Savior.

In addition to her parents, Anna was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Passmore and Wayne Passmore.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 40 years, Ray Stamey of the home; a daughter, Sara Stamey of the home; a sister, Teresa Poole (Steve) of Thomasville; nieces and nephews, Kenny Passmore (Amanda), Erica Puckett (Josh), David Poole (Maggie), Amber Jenkins (Reggie), Renee Poole, Heather Poole; several great nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel with Rev. Jack Hurley, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. The family will greet friends Friday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
