Annie Louise Frazier Summers, 94, a resident of Archdale, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at her home. She was born May 26, 1929, in Randolph County to the late John Shuford Frazier and Odessa Oates Frazier. Annie attended Prospect United Methodist Church in High Point and was a member of the Lady Bugs Senior Group and a former choir member. She loved to watch Price is Right and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, Annie is preceded in death by her three sisters, Thelma Frazier Stinson, Lillian Frazier, Bertha Frazier; her six brothers, Lloyd R. Frazier, Jeff D. Frazier, Claude S. Frazier, Harvey A. Frazier, Exton Frazier, John Shuford Frazier. On January 22, 1949 she married Ralph Wilson Summers, and they enjoyed 49 years of marriage before he passed away February 21, 1998.
Annie is survived by four sons, Andy Clayton Summers of the home, Von Douglas Summers of Salisbury, Guy Wilson Summers and wife Mary of Trinity, Robbie Lynn Summers of Randleman; four grandchildren, Jake Wilson Summers and wife Autumn of Trinity, Jennifer Dawn Coleman and husband Mark of Thomasville, Jordyn Michelle Summers of Durham, William Chase Conrad of Sophia; five great-grandchildren, Olivia Jane Summers, Alice Rose Summers, Lucy Belle Summers, Ian Ross Coleman, Scarlett Elise Coleman. Annie will be missed by everyone who knew her.
A funeral service will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Prospect United Methodist Church 5553 Prospect Street, High Point, with Rev. Quentin Sholtz and Rev. Marty Frazier officiating. Burial will follow the service in Floral Garden Park Cemetery 1730 West English Road, High Point, NC. The family will greet friends Thursday evening, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at J.C. Geen Funeral Home in Thomasville. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of Randolph County 416 Vision Drive, Asheboro, NC 27203.
