Arlene May (Foster) Rhoades

Mrs. Arlene May Foster Rhoades, 64, of Lexington passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. Arlene was born October 13, 1957 in Mercer, PA to  Richard “Dick” Foster and Codean Campbell Foster. She was a faithful member of Heath Church. She worked many years as a Certified Nurse Assistant. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by her father, Richard “Dick” Foster; one brother, Tim Foster; and one niece, Melody Foster.

Surviving is her loving husband of 46 years, Carey Lee Rhoades of the home; her mother, Codean Campbell Foster of Mercer County, PA; two daughters, Cynthia Lopez and husband Esteban of Lexington, Rachel Rhoades of Lexington; four sons, Eli Benjamin Rhoades and wife Gloria of Lexington, Daniel Lee Rhoades of Lexington, Jose Elia Rodriguez and wife Paulina of Trinity, Andy Jasso Rodriguez of Thomasville; four sisters, twin sister, Darlene Murphy of Pennsylvania, Kathy Hollman and husband Sam of Pennsylvania, Judy McLaren and husband Bryan of  New Wilmington, PA, Lillian Foster of Florida; two brothers, Kenneth Foster and wife Linda of Pennsylvania, Ray Foster and wife Crystal of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Zack, Esteban, Cynthia, Fabian, Melissa, Isaac, Joanna, David, Rachael, Hannah, Jennaca, Jaelynn, Julian, Joel, and Jocelyn; one great-grandson, Calvin; sister-in-law, Sue Strickland.

A funeral service will be held at Heath Church on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Dan Downing and Rev. Mike Mater officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday at the church beginning at 1:30 PM.
