Arnold Chester (Bill) Hansen

Mr. Arnold Chester (Bill) Hansen, 79, a resident of Winston-Salem, passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

Bill was born November 16, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois a son of the late Arling Hansen and the late Esther Moose Hansen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Diane Inners. Bill has made this area his home since 1998. He was a pawn broker, loved to travel, enjoyed using computers and liked to keep up with the stock market. Bill served our country serving in the U.S. Army and spent some time stationed in Germany. On February 23, 1973, he married Barbara Lesley Muddiman who survives of the home.

Also surviving are his daughters, Kimberly Mitchell (Mitch) of Baltimore, MD, Lorraine Hansen of Rhode Island, Kelly Klingler (Mico) of Deerfield Beach, FL., Sandra Aldridge (Keith) of Gastonia, NC, Ashley Hansen (Fiancée Matthew Mitchell) of Winston-Salem, NC; grandchildren, Emma Aldridge, Joseph Aldridge, Lesley Mitchell and a sister, Bonnie Merritt (Randy) of Arizona.  

A memorial service will be held at a later date. J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Winston-Salem (Wallburg Community) is assisting the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Piedmont, 1801 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
