Barbara "Bobbie" Morris

Barbara “Bobbie” Morris, age 81, of Davidson County, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025 while at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.  She was born on October 21, 1943 in Guilford County to the late Wayne and Louise Phillips Morris.  Bobbie was a member of Lexwin Baptist Church and was an Honorary member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Gumtree Fire Department.  She graduated from Ledford High School in 1962 and then attended the Winston-Salem Beauty School.  She spent her working years as a beautician, operating the Kozy Korner Beauty Salon and the Konnoak Beauty Salon, retiring in 2009. Bobbie’s favorite activities included beach trips and shopping with family members.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Rhonda Whitaker (O’Dean), and Wanda Cook (Bill); and great-nephew, Josh Gregory.

Surviving are her nephews, Richard “Ric” Cook (Beth), and Jay Adams (Gail Whitt) all of Winston-Salem; niece, Melissa Easter (Greg) of Dobson; and great nieces and nephews, Cindy Hicks, Audrianna Thomas (Logan), Andruw Cook, Ben Easter, Lindsay Easter, and Riley Easter.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens with Pastor Erick Goff, Michael Hyde, and Jimmy Hyde officiating.  The family will greet friends following the service.  In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Kate B.
