Barbara Jean Owen Lequire Obituary
Mrs. Barbara Jean Owen Lequire, 75, of Denton, passed away on Sunday, August 10, 2025. She was born on July 31, 1950 in Davidson County, Thomasville, NC to Johnny Owen and Carrie Estella Doby Owen.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Owen.
On June 5, 1969, she married Harold Lee Lequire, who survives of the home; also surviving is her daughter, Celena Martin and husband Scott of Denton; three grandchildren, Casey Deel and husband Cory, Amber Yates and husband Scott, and Brentley Martin and wife Haley; and eight great-grandchildren, Colby Deel, Daelyn Bean, Emma Bean, Lainey Yates, Kylee Yates, Emilyn Hunt, Weston Martin, and Hattie Martin.
A private family celebration of life service will be held.
