Barry Fansler Obituary

Barry Preston Fansler, 75, of Lower Lake Road went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at WFBH High Point Medical Center.

 

Barry was born December 8, 1945 to the late Charles Austin Fansler and Nancy Elizabeth Heath Fansler in Davidson County. He worked for many years as a septic tank installer. Barry was a faithful member of Christian Cathedral in Thomasville. Barry was faithful to Christ and showed his love for the Lord by the life he lived.

 

In addition to his parents, Barry was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Sarah Smith Fansler; two siblings, Wanda Smith, Kenny Fansler; brother-in-law and friend, Charles Stephenson.

 

Surviving is his wife, Linda Fansler of the home; sister-in-law, Martha Stephenson of Thomasville; step-son, Craig Lambeth (Christy) of Denton; three special nieces and caregivers, Frankie, Debbie, Tammie; many nieces, nephews, extended family and a beloved dog, Zoe.

 

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Robbie Stephens and Rev. Henry King officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville. Mr. Fansler will lie in repose on Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the funeral home. Memorial may be given to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or the Salvation Army.
