Benjie Brown Obituary
Mr. Benjie Wayne Brown, 59, a resident of Thomasville, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, December 17, 2025, at his home. He was born March 21, 1966, in Davidson County to Alice Williams Rhymer and the late Garland Brown.
Benjie attended East Davidson High School and worked as a plumber and other construction jobs in his earlier years. He loved to go fishing and panning for gold and other gems/stones in local creeks with his friends. Benjie enjoyed spending time with his girlfriend, Trish before her passing, earlier this year.
In addition to his father, Benjie is preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Benjie is survived by his mother, Alice Williams Rhymer of Carthage and her husband Rick Rhymer; two brothers, Dustin Rhymer and Adam Brown; three sisters, Christy Knight, Traci Finney and Holli Rhymer; two aunts, Betty Brown and Arlene Williams; numerous nieces and nephews; and other extended family members.
