Betty (Dugacs) Conover

Betty Conover, 88, of Winston Salem, NC, joined the Kingdom of Heaven on April 08, 2026.  Betty was born March 03,1938 in Middlesex County, NJ to Father Alexander Dugacs and Mother Elizabeth Toth.  Betty married the love of her life, Clifton Conover in 1957 where they welcomed a daughter, Elizabeth Ann and celebrated a wonderful and loving marriage for 27 years. Betty never shied away from a good Polka, could cook a good stuffed cabbage roll, and loved to travel and adventure; affectionately nicknamed “Go-Go Grandma”.  Betty is preceded in death by her parents Alexander and Elizabeth Dugcas, her husband Clifton Conover and her brother Frank Dugacs.

She is survived in death by her daughter Elizabeth Ann Lancer and her husband Roger Lancer III of Winston Salem, NC; four grandchildren, Daniel Durant of Winston Salem, NC, Kevin Durant of Las Vegas, NV, Sarah Lancer of Winston Salem, NC, and Roger Lancer IV of Northern Virginia; her great-grandchildren, Samara Lancer, Logan Durant and Luke Durant; uncle, Johnny English of NJ; aunt, Marylee’s Parr of NJ; as well as nieces and nephews, Sharon Duffy of NJ, Renee Dugac of NJ, Barry Dugac of NJ, and Kaitlyn Kmosko of NJ, Michael Toth and wife Laura of NJ , Peter Toth and wife Susan of NY, Robin Morrell and husband Mike of NJ.
