Billy Lee Nance, Jr.

Mr. Billy Lee Nance, Jr., age 65 passed away on Friday, July 24, 2020 in Lexington, NC. He was born in Guilford County, NC  to the late Billy Lee Nance, Sr. and Evelyn Sowers Nance on March 8, 1955. Mr. Nance was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church and also attended Cross Point Church in Lexington. He spent his entire career as a truck driver, where he most recently drove for Epes Transport. He enjoyed spending time at home with his family, eating good food, and watching old war films. He especially loved spending time with his beloved dog, Tinker Bell. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his son, Donny Eugene Nance and one sister and brother.

Mr. Nance is survived by his wife, Teresa Black Nance of the home; one son, Ricky Lee Nance of Albemarle; one granddaughter, Skylar Nance of Wilmington.

A service will be held Wednesday July 29 at 11:00 AM at the JC Green & Sons chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Michael Greer officiating. There will be a visitation with the family one hour prior to the service. Following the service, the internment will be held at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church cemetery.
