Bobby June Hill

Mr. Bobby June Hill, 79, of Thomasville went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Pennybyrn of High Point.

Bobby was born January 19, 1946, son of the late Herman Odell Hill and Mozelle Matilda Beck Hill of Davidson County. He served his country in the United States Marines. Bobby worked for Sears and Roebuck Corporation for 29 years. Followed by 16 years at Southern Resin Incorporated in Thomasville. In addition to his professional career, he served in the local church as a deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, and as a member of the Finance Committee of the church. In recent years, he attended Hillside Park Baptist Church in Thomasville. He was an avid coon hunter, member of the Professional Kennel Club, and enjoyed spending countless nights with his son and grandson attending hunting events in multiple states. He enjoyed trips to the beach with his wife and truly was a family man.

Surviving are his loving wife of 54 years, Wanda Younts Hill of the home; a son, Lance Hill and wife Misti of Thomasville; grandson, Landon Hill of Thomasville; sister-in-law, Vivian Swaim of Thomasville; brother-in-law, Woody Younts and wife Phyllis of Asheboro; many extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends Sunday, December 7, 2025 at the J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 4:00 to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Hillside Park Baptist Church in Thomasville with Pastor Steve Chipps and Pastor Johnny Daniel officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville.
