Obituary
Mr. Bobby Eugene Hollifield, 75, a resident of Mallard Trail Dr. Denton passed away on Monday, April 4, 2022 at his home. He was born on July 24, 1946 in McDowell County, NC to Cecil James Hollifield and Hester Lee Smith Hollifield. He retired from the US Navy, where he worked at The Pentagon. He loved fishing and hunting in his younger days. He was of the Methodist faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Burr and Betty Palmer.
Surviving are his two daughters, Paige Harriott and husband Bryan of Monroe, NC and Jennifer Hollifield of Rock Hill, SC; two sisters, Joan Gentry and husband Jim of Sierra Vista, AZ and Linda Amos of Kernersville; two grandsons, Tyler Harriott and Travis Harriott.
A memorial service with inurnment will be held at the Salisbury National Cemetery on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 2:00 pm with full military honors. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
