Brenda Joyce (Spell) Tilson

Mrs. Brenda Joyce Spell Tilson, 74 of Thomasville passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday April 20, 2021 with her loving family close by. Brenda was born January 25, 1947 in Guilford County to the late Napoleon A. Spell and Margaret T. Bailey Spell. Brenda worked many years in the Healthcare Industry as a Medical Transcriptionist. She enjoyed reading and listening to music. Brenda loved to visit the beach. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, she will be missed by many. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cassondra “Cassie” Creakman and one sister, Linda Kennedy.

Brenda is survived by her husband, Buddy Tilson of the home; one daughter, Maggie Infield; three sons, Ean Payne, Brandon Payne, and John Ellis; one sister, Sandy Wagner; nine beloved grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; she also leaves behind her furry companions; Sully, Sam, Lucy, Ziggy, and Merlin.
