Brenda Ann (Addison)Watson passed away peacefully at Pine Ridge Health and Rehab on June 6th at the age of 69. She was an avid dog lover and had given loving homes to many stray dogs that wondered into her life or that she adopted from a local pet shelter.
After retiring from Globe Products she moved to Spindale, North Carolina with her second husband, Donald Watson. She was actively involved in the community and worked for a federally funded program within the school system. She volunteered at a local school where she tutored young students who were struggling with their school work. She also worked for the Economic Development Department in Forest City. She cared about her community and worked where she could to help make it better. She retired from her last job at PSU in Forest City in 2018.
She spent her days in retirement working in her garden or sitting on the front porch enjoying visits with friends or watching the birds in her yard.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Watson; her sons, Christopher Crumley (Christen), his sons Hudson, Owen, and Greyson, and Matthew Crumley (Christy), his daughter Addison and son Carson.
