Brenda Gayle Bowman Mauldin Tyndall Obituary

Mrs. Brenda Gayle Bowman Mauldin Tyndall, passed away on January 19, 2026 in Thomasville, at Pine Ridge Nursing Facility.  She was born on October 3, 1944.  Brenda was a woman of deep faith, gentle strength, and quiet devotion.  To know her was to love her, experience kindness in its purest form steady, patient, and sincere.  She was the kind of person who didn’t need to raise her voice to be heard, because her spirit spoke through the way she loved, served, and cared for others.  Brenda had the most beautiful voice, and for many years, she shared that gift through music.  She sang in church and played the piano faithfully, offering worship not just through sound, but through her heart.  Her relationship with the Lord was not only something she believed, it was something she lived daily, with a calm reverence that shaped every part of her life. She also found peace in her garden, tending to it with the same care she gave to her family.  It was one of the places where she felt closest to God, a quiet sanctuary, where she could reflect and feel His presence.  Brenda loved to write, and for many years she shared beautiful passages on her Facebook page, often quoting scripture and writing about her love for the Lord.  Her words encouraged others and brought comfort to many, especially before her stroke in 2023.  Her faith-filled messages and heartfelt writing were deeply appreciated by all who followed along.  She also had a passion for ancestry and heritage, dedicating time to tracing her family tree and honoring the generations that came before.  She carried a strong sense of where she came from, and she treasured the stories and history that shaped her family.  Above all, Brenda was a devoted mother in the truest sense of the word.  Her love was steady, selfless, and unwavering.  She will be remembered as a woman of grace, kind, patient, and deeply faithful, whose life reflected the Lord she loved so dearly.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Mauldin Watson and husband Todd of Trinity, NC and Kristi Mauldin of Milan, Italy, and her son, Greg Mauldin and wife Tammy of Trinity, NC.  She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Bo Watson and wife Lauren, and their children, Levi, Owen, and Aida Watson, Kayla Tyndall and husband Eric, Gregory Mauldin, Brooke Pierce and husband Austin, Victoria Mauldin and her children, Brayden and Raeleigh Mauldin, Brandon Mauldin, Clarissa Mauldin, and Jordan Mauldin.  She is also survived by her sister, Gay Nell Parks of San Francisco, CA.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Elza Bledsoe Bowman and her father, Charlie Bowman.  Brenda will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at 11:00 AM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev.
