Brooke Edmonds Bohannon

Brooke Edmonds Bohannon has died at the age of 30 after a long and hard fight against melanoma. She is survived by her husband, her mother, father, brother, and her three beautiful children: Luke, Riley, and Reagan. Brooke was an incredible mother, a loving wife and daughter, and a caring friend to many. She had an infectious smile and a way of making everyone feel so loved and welcome in her presence. As a pediatric nurse, she spent each day bettering the lives of her patients. As a mom, she spent each day bettering the lives of her children. She showed them how to laugh, how to love, how to sacrifice, and how to be strong in the face of great adversity. She loved her family enthusiastically, surrounding herself with their love each day, extending to her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and her regular lunch dates with her Poppaw. She is a fierce lover of the Lord and sought comfort in His affection throughout her battle with cancer, continually holding onto the truth that He is in control. It was through this faith that she was able to go through each challenge with a smile and a positive attitude that has impacted many. We are comforted in knowing she is with Him now, in His love and His care. We are grateful for her time here with us and the lasting memory she will leave. She was truly an amazing woman, irreplaceable to many people, and forever in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Gospel Baptist Church, 9042 US Hwy 311, High Point, NC 27263. There will be no visitation prior or following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hospice of the Piedmont, Gospel Baptist Church, or Vertical Church of the Triad. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.jcgreenandsons.com.
