Carolyn Thomas Obituary

Mrs. Carolyn S. Thomas, 77, passed away suddenly on Sunday, May 30, 2021.

Carolyn was born March 14, 1944 in Montclair, New Jersey a daughter to the late Robert H. See and the late Elizabeth Purcell See. She was a former Fire Place Lodge camp counselor, Moravian College graduate, a teacher of sign language, French and Special Education. Carolyn loved to study the Bible, crochet, cross stitch and knit.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, Ralph Thomas of the home; daughter, Lisa Reed (Steve) of NC; granddaughter, Stephanie Reed of NC; sister, Virginia Reynolds (Don) of Richmond, VA; nephew, Robert Benson (Monica Iancu) of NY; niece, Debbie Benson (Traci Eagle) of Richmond, VA and many special friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on June 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Oaklawn Baptist Church with Pastor Jay Boyce officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery and a reception will be at Oaklawn Baptist Church after the burial. The family will receive friends at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Winston-Salem (Wallburg Community) is assisting the Thomas family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to Oaklawn Baptist Church, 3500 Kernersville Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27107. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
