Mrs. Carrie Margaret Pedigo Fleming, 76, a resident of Salem Street, passed away on Sunday, November 22, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 1, 1944 in Patrick County, VA to Joseph (Joe) Letcher Pedigo and Bessie Noah Pedigo. She was a beautician and owned and operated Shear Artistry in Thomasville for 30+ years. She traveled throughout the world and went on several mission trips to the Ukraine.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Mack Robert Pedigo, Arthur Marion (Butch) Pedigo, and Auburn Allen Pedigo; and sister, Ellen Smith.
Surviving are her two sons, Richard Wayne Fleming (Dee Branning) and Craig Steven Fleming (LeAnne), all of Thomasville; sisters, Tina Brinkley of Kernersville, Jenny Cockerham (Albert) of Mt. Airy, Elsie Pedigo of Winston-Salem, and Carol Pedigo of Winston-Salem; 4 grandchildren, Eli Fleming, Brooke Scarborough (Clint), Leah Perkins (Luke), and Jake Fleming; 4 great-grandchildren, Liza McChesney, Alex McChesney, Wrenley Rose Scarborough, and Kennedi Scarborough; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Pedigo Cemetery in Ararat, VA with Pastor Chris Clontz officiating. No formal visitation will be held.
