Cecil Homer Billings Obituary
Mr. Cecil Homer Billings, 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at the Hospice Home at High Point. He was born on August 15, 1940 in Wilkes County, North Wilkesboro, NC to Luther Billings and Mary Della Billings Billings. He worked in the furniture industry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lee Purvis Billings; brothers, Buddy and Bobby Billings; sisters, Linda Kay Potts and Ruby Billings; and half-daughter, Cynthia Kaylor.
Surviving is his daughter, Sharon Bridges and husband Billy of Denton; sons, Wayne Billings and fiancée Ruth of High Point and Ricky Billings of Thomasville; sisters, Judy, Patty Sue, Mary Lou, and Ruth; grandchildren, Tiffany Johnson and husband Mike, Teresa Schoenhardt and husband Scott, Steven Catron and wife Elaine, David Bridges and wife Ruby, and Casey Billings; and great-grandchildren, Joseph Bridges, Leah Bridges, Savannah Bridges, Angela Catron, Nathan Jennings, Logan Johnson, and Chase Catron.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Bynum Orr officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
