Mr. Charlie (Beaver) Robert Kindley, 72, of Kindley Road, went home to be with the Lord on August 8, 2020 at his residence.
Beaver was born on September 15, 1947 to the late George (Bridge) Washington Kindley, Sr. and Ida (Maw) Varner Kindley in Davidson County. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during Vietnam. He worked for many years at Thomasville Furniture Industries. Beaver was a follower of Christ, and never met a stranger in his life. He enjoyed going to the Friday breakfast club and spending time with family, especially with his great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Hunt Kindley in October of 1991; his brother, George (Bud) Kindley, Jr.
Surviving are his two loving daughters, Dawn Clark and husband Shunta of Las Vegas, NV, Paula Kindley of Thomasville; three siblings, Lois (Cindy) Taylor and husband Wayne, Roger Kindley, Rachel Cribb and husband Billy, all of Thomasville; six grandchildren, Nathan Kindley and wife April, Brittany Burris, Dameon Burris, Jessica Burris, Anjelica March, Isaac McClamrock; five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Holly Hill Memorial Park in Thomasville with Rev. Hillis Burton and Rev. Tim Burton officiating. Beaver will remain at the J.C. Green and Sons funeral home in Thomasville on Monday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Memorials may be given to the Veterans Charity of your choice.
