Cheryl Ann (Todd) Norris

Mrs. Cheryl Ann Todd Norris, 81, of Thomasville, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Brookdale Retirement Center of Lexington.  She was born on October 25, 1944 in Alamance County, NC to Daniel Edward “Pete” Todd and Norma Lee Farlow Todd.  She was the activities director for Libertywood Nursing Home in Thomasville and attended Southgate Baptist Church, where she was the organist and pianist.  She volunteered for Hospice of Davidson County and played the piano at Hospice, the Thomasville Women’s Club, and several area nursing homes.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Lane Norris on September 13, 2015, whom she married on December 12, 1964; and her brother, Daniel Todd, II.

Surviving is her son, William Lane Norris and wife Wendy of Thomasville; her daughter, Kelly Susan Norris of Thomasville; and two grandchildren, Claire Norris Prevatte and husband Ayden and Blake Holder Norris, all of Thomasville.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15, 2025 at 11:00 AM at the J.C. Green & Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Kirk Tutterow officiating. Interment will follow at the Norris Family Cemetery in Hurdle Mills, NC.  The family will receive friends on Monday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
