Christian Alexander Lopp, 26, a resident of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Grand Strand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC. He was born on June 8, 1999 in High Point, NC to his parents, Jeff Lopp and Christine Harvell Lopp. He graduated from East Davidson High School and worked for Jerry Hunt Supercenter in Lexington as a technician. He loved to work on diesel trucks, ride motorcycles, and be outdoors hunting or fishing. Christian is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Gearldine Harvell and his paternal grandparents, Rev. Claude Garrett, Sr. “Papa” and Neoma Garrett “Nana”.

Surviving is his mother, Christine Lopp (Sherrill Yates) of Thomasville; his father, Jeff Lopp (Christine) of Thomasville; his sister, Courtney Casteen of Greenville, NC; a maternal grandfather, George Harvell; and a multitude of Aunts, Uncles, and extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Wayside Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Garrett and Rev. Tim Burton officiating. The family will greet friends and family Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the church, 3035 Upper Lake Road, Thomasville, NC.
