Christine (Oxendine) Ray

Christine Oxendine Ray, 76, of Trinity passed away Tuesday morning July 29, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.

Christine was born July 20, 1949 in Marlboro County, SC to the late Dexton Oxendine and Esteree Maynor Oxendine. She worked as a security officer for IQE in Greensboro. Christine understood the value of hard work and enjoyed cleaning. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and will be missed by all who knew her.

In addition to her parents, Christine was preceded in death by her husband Walter Fox in 2004; two daughters, Michelle Fox and Angela Bryson.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Wayne Ray of 20 years; a daughter, Christine Steffey and husband Burley; three step-children, Chris Ray, Erica Robinson, and Chastidy Johnson; a sister, Marie Baker: four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren, and two step-great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the J.C. Green and Sons Chapel with Pastor Andrew Little officiating. The family will greet friends from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the funeral home.
