Christine Sullivan Obituary

Mrs. Christine Martin Sullivan, 84, of Thomasville was shown favor by her Lord as he granted her petition and took her to her heavenly home on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. Christine was born August 28,1940 in Cabarrus County to the late Harrison Glenn Martin and Lessie Helms Martin.  She loved the Lord with all her heart and always strived to serve him. She worked many years in retail management and also started her own catering business. Christine was the true definition of a loving mother and providing for her family; she always had a wonderful meal on the table and even made some of the clothing her children wore. Her greatest joy in life was the time spent and memories made with her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Wade Laster Sullivan, Sr. on December 7, 2011; two sisters, Mary and Vernie; two brothers, L.G. and Bobby.

Surviving are her daughters, Deborah Hughes and husband Terry of Archdale, Pamela Norman of Lexington, Crystal Taylor and husband Johnny of Archdale, and Amanda Stone and husband Grady of Trinty; son, Wade Sullivan, Jr., and wife Michelle of Thomasville; grandchildren, Penny Thomas (Morgan), Taylor Jones (Tyler), Candi Montesa (AJ), Natalie Stone (Quenton), Sam Stone and Ashley Peek (Justin); and great-grandchildren, Isabella, Madeline, Elizabeth, John, Merritt, Paisley and Charlotte.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 10, 2025 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Pastor Jeff Walser officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville. The family will greet friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
