Chrystal Gayle Barnhill

Chrystal Gayle Barnhill, 48, a resident of Denton, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at Wake Forest Baptist Health in Winston-Salem. She was born on September 9, 1977 in Thomasville, NC to her parents, Christine Godbolt Hedrick and William Barnhill. Chrystal enjoyed baking cakes, making fudge at Christmas time, and making T-Shirts for friends. Chrystal loved spending time with her family and her bonus kids. She was a lover of animals, anything Stitch, and trips to the beach. She is preceded in death by her dad, William Barnhill and her stepdad, Ronald Hedrick.

Surviving is her mother, Christine Hedrick; her stepmother, Susie Barnhill; four children, Bryanna Cross, Brandon Barnhill, Zach Cross, and Kyra Cross; two stepdaughters, Angel Baisden and Selina Cain; two sisters, Amanda Barnhill and husband Robert, and Bridgette Cockman and husband Michael; two brothers, Ricky Barnhill and wife Joyce, and Austin Barnhill; seven grandchildren, Sophia, Kallie, Braxton, Anthony, Leland, Hazel, Lilly; and several friends and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Victory Baptist Church on Highway 47 with Pastor Jeff Mabe officiating.
