Clinton McDowell

Mr. Clinton McDowell, 69, a resident of Maple Leaf Health Care and formerly of Lexington and Denton, passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2020 at Maple Leaf Health Care in Statesville.  He was born on February 25, 1951 in Davidson County, NC to C.G. McDowell and Pauline Harrison McDowell, both of whom preceded him in death.  He worked in the furniture industry the majority of his working life and lastly at Thomasville Furniture Industries.  He was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving is his son, Chad McDowell of Lexington; his sister, Faydene McNew and husband Allen of Denton; and his brother, Benny McDowell and wife Brenda of Denton.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Pleasant Union Community Church Cemetery with Reverend Bynum Orr officiating.  No formal visitation will be held.  Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
