Cope Roger Woodle

Mr. Cope Roger Woodle, 91, a resident of Thomasville passed away Friday, January 7, 2022 at the Abbotts Creek Center in Lexington, NC. He was born Feb. 8, 1930 in Davidson County, NC. He was the son of the late George and Ada Clodfelter Woodle. Cope was the owner of Copes Café and retired from H&B Plywood of Lexington, NC. He attended Friendly Gospel Baptist Church in Thomasville, NC. He was married to Betty Faye Beck Woodle who preceded him in death in addition to his parents, and four sisters, Rosa Jane Woodle Hughes, Clara Mae Woodle Martin, Effie Burkhart, and Lillie Bailey.

Surviving is one son, Keith Woodle of Lexington, NC; one sister, Emma Jane Asbill of Lexington, NC.

Graveside services will be held Monday, January 10, 2022 at 3:30 PM in Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery Thomasville, NC with Rev. Darrell Summey officiating.
