Damian Taylor Obituary

Damian Lee Taylor, 21, of Lexington, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021. He was born on June 13, 2000 in Davidson County to Brian Lee Taylor and Jennie Marie Hunt. Damian worked for Peace Delivery in High Point and was of the Baptist Faith. He loved running, hiking, mountain climbing, camping, fishing, and being outdoors. He also loved music and socializing with his friends and family. Damian is preceded in death by his daughter, Waverly Marie Taylor, maternal grandfather, Charlie Everette Hunt, and cousin, Christopher Golden.

Surviving are his parents, Jennie “Pedy” Hunt of Denton, and Brian Taylor of Lexington; maternal grandmother, Jennie Cartrette Hunt of High Point; paternal grandmother, Joyce Knopp of Lexington; paternal grandfather, Lindsay Hopkins of Guatemala; two sisters, Brittany Lynn Taylor of Thomasville, and Jennie Lynn Moore and husband Jaren of Asheboro; special aunt and uncle, Tammy and Charlie “Chop” Billings of High Point; and a large supportive family.

A service will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 at 4:00 PM at J C Green and Sons Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St. Thomasville, NC. 27360, with Pastor Carroll Cullipher. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 3:00-3:45 PM. Online condolences may be sent to www.jcgreenandsons.com.
