Danny Lee Singleton

Mr. Danny Lee Singleton, 69, a resident of Denton, passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2020 in Thomasville Medical Center. Mr. Singleton was born in Avery County to the late Thomas Opal Singleton and Vonda Mae Young Singleton on March 13, 1951. He owned and operated Singleton Realty for many years. On December 27, 1995 he married Judith Roman. Mr. Singleton was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hiking, fishing, and camping, as well as building things. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.

Mr. Singleton is survived by his wife, Judith Singleton, of the home; daughters, Brandy Singleton and fiancé Chuck Skeen of Lexington and Mandy English and husband David of Thomasville; siblings, Victor Singleton and wife Renee of Fayetteville, Tammy O’Neil and husband James of Denton, Kim Frick and husband Jeff of Denton, Faith Bryant and husband Greg of Trinity, and Chris Singleton of Salisbury; grandchildren, Jordyn Cook and husband Daniel of Denton, Corbyn and Kamryn Davis of Lexington, and Jacob and Nicholas English of Thomasville; and fur-baby Ellie.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the JC Green and Sons Chapel in Thomasville. Interment will be at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.
