Danny Ray Cox was born on March 3, 1994, in Davidson County, to Carla Cox and Donald Ray Cox. Danny passed away on March 27th at the age of 28. During his life, he proved himself to be an outstanding, devoted father. He went above and beyond to provide for his children, and he loved them with all his heart. Anyone who knew him knew that his children were his biggest source of happiness. He was a dedicated employee at Asplundh Tree Company, and provided great service to our community through this role. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. His joyful personality was infectious and could easily bring a smile to anyone’s face, even in the worst of times. To say that he will be greatly missed is an understatement. He was loved by so many and his influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew him.
Danny is lovingly remembered by his children, Mason Cox and Emma Cox; mother, Carla Cox; father, Donald Ray Cox; brother, Preston Cox, and his wife, Maryanne Loo Siu-Cox, and daughter, Amber Cox; brother, Dylan Cox, and his wife, Kristen Cox, and their children, Summerlee Cox and Dylan Cox, Jr.; brother, Austin Cox; sister, Hailey Cox; paternal grandparents, Lee and Joyce Hammonds; maternal grandparents, Carl and Jacqueline “Jackie” Beck; aunt and uncle, Melissa Kindley and Kerry “Chuck” Kindley; cousins, Heather Kindley, and her fiancée, Hayden Sisk, and Hillary Zanenghi, and her husband, Zachary Zanenghi; and numerous life-long friends.
