David Junior Hunt

Mr. David Junior Hunt, age 75, a resident of Loflin Hill Rd. passed away Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at his residence. He was born January 16, 1945 in Guilford County, NC the son of the late David Ralph Hunt and Ruby White Hunt. Mr. Hunt did furniture work

most of his life and working for several years at Hayworth Roll & Panel Furniture. He was a member of Bright Light Freewill Baptist Church. He was very fond of western movies like Gun Smoke, enjoyed doing yard work and old – timey cars. In addition to his parents preceding him in death is one sister, Ruby Ann Grubb.

Mr. Hunt was married June 18, 1988 to Priscilla “Pat” Jacobs Hunt of the home. Also surviving is two daughters, Kimberly Hunt Holleman and husband Jade of Asheboro and Angela Marie Mills and husband Jeffrey of Salisbury; three sons, Tony Ray Hunt of Carolina Beach, David Wayne Hunt of Trinity, and Jackie Lee Hunt of Thomasville;

one sister, Betty Jane Alexander of Trinity; two brothers, Arthur Lee Hunt of Thomasville and Donald Ray Hunt and wife Amy of Lexington; five grandchildren, Miranda Sebastian and husband Cord of Thomasville, Ashley Hunt of Denton, Hannah Holleman of Trinity, Ashlyn Holleman of Asheboro and, Caleb Mills of Salisbury, NC; two great-granddaughters, Madelyn Hunt and Cayliegh Sebastian.

Graveside services will be conducted Monday, January 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery in Thomasville. Mr. Hunt will remain at J. C.
