Deborah (Hancock) Gallimore

Deborah Hancock Gallimore, 67, of Thomasville went home to be with Jesus, Tuesday June 2, 2026 at Thomasville Medical Center.

Deborah was born August 22, 1958 to the late David Roy Hancock and Mary Kindley Hancock of Davidson County. She was a faithful member of Hughes Grove Baptist Church and worked for Food Lion for many years. She enjoyed cooking, beach trips, and yard sells. Deborah will be remembered as a strong woman of faith that loved her family dearly and always gave more than was required. 

In addition to her parents, Deborah was preceded in death by a nephew, Brandon Hancock. Surviving are her two sons, David Gallimore and Aiden Gallimore of Thomasville; step-daughter, Debbie Bivens; a brother, Roy Hancock; a nephew, Bradley Hancock; good friend of 40 years, Linda Thompson; extended family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Monday, June 8, 2026 at 3:00 PM at Hughes Grove Baptist Church in Thomasville with Pastor Dr. Michael Grant officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service starting at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the church.
