Diane Charles Peeples

Diane Charles Peeples, 69 of Kernersville, passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022, at her own home. Diane was born on June 27, 1952, to parents, Walter and Helen Charles. Diane loved her family with everything in her and loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed cooking, gospel music, and traveling. Diane was also a great decorator, and her home always reflected what holiday season or time of year it was at any given moment.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl Leonard; and sisters: Barbara Lankford, Carolyn Teague, and Mickey Tilley.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Stephanie (Alan) Herndon of Thomasville; brother, Donald Charles of Winston-Salem; grandsons, Dylan and Jacob Rogers, step-grandsons, Chris (Amber) and Nolan Herndon; two great-grandchildren, Lucas Rogers and Maddox Herndon; special brother and sister-in-law, Horace and Darlene Leonard; her “second daughter”, Michelle Leonard; special friend, Cheryl Gerhart; devoted friend, Hank Rivers; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Thomasville Church of God (1200 W Holly Hill Rd, Thomasville, NC 27360) on February 5, 2022, at 2:00pm with Reverend Alan Greene officiating. The family will receive friends, in the fellowship hall, immediately following the service.
