Dolan Carl Byerly

Mr. Dolan Carl Byerly, 81, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Dolan was born August 29, 1943 in Annapolis, Maryland a son of the late Robert Byerly and the late Melva Cecil Byerly. Dolan was an upholsterer having work many years with Thayer Coggin, Inc. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching NASCAR, watching college football and loved going on camping trips with his wife. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Nancy Maxey Byerly of the home; sons, Dolan Keith Byerly and his wife Melissa of Thomasville, Mark Douglas Byerly and his wife Libby of Randolph County; his daughter, Melissa Annette Byerly of Thomasville; his step-son, Michael Shell and his wife Kristy of Winston-Salem; his step-daughter, Tammy Thomas and her husband Scott of Kernersville; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
