Donald Ray Hamm

Mr. Donald Ray Hamm, 61 of Trinity, passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Atrium Health High Point Medical Center. He was born on November 20, 1963 in Guilford County, NC. He was the owner and operator of Donald Hamm Heating and Air Conditioning, LLC since 2004. Donald attended Southgate Baptist Church. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved the outdoors and operating construction equipment. Donald had an incredible talent for fixing and building anything. He had remarkable strength and resilience and always greeted his family with a smile.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wayne Hamm. Surviving is his wife of 36 years, Diane “Dee” Beck Hamm of the home. Also surviving is his mother, Shirley Ann Hancock Whitaker of Stokesdale; his daughters, Kimberly Hayworth of Trinity and Stephanie Atkins (Roger) of Hillsborough; his son Phillip Stone of Stokesdale; sister, Tammy Hamm (Ronnie McMichael) of Oak Ridge; brothers, Danny Hamm (Donna) of Hillsville, VA and Matthew Dwayne Hamm (Kathryn) of Oak Ridge, NC; grandchildren Connor, Alexa, and Addison Atkins of Hillsborough. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2025 at 2:00pm at Southgate Baptist Church with a Rev. Russel Fox and Rev. Chuck Garner officiating. The family will greet friends for visitation one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00pm at the church. A private graveside service will be held at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
