Donna Ruth Ball

Donna Ruth Ball, 65, a resident of Thomasville, passed away early Thursday morning, May 8, 2025 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.  Donna was born January 24, 1960 in Davidson County to the late Avon Ball and Helen Bray Ball.

Donna was a faithful member of Calvary UCC in Thomasville, where she served as a Sunday School teacher and was on the Consistory for numerous years.  She was a dedicated employee in Senior Management for Bank of America, Piedmont Natural Gas Company and finished her career at Wells Fargo.   Donna was an original PSL holder for the Carolina Panthers Football Team and attempted to attend every game.  She also enjoyed bowling and playing cards with her neighbors and friends.  Donna was a caring daughter, cousin and friend and will be missed by everyone who knew her. 

Donna is survived by her cousins, David Louya and wife Cathy, and Nell Ball; many close friends, whom she considered family. 

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 11, 2025 at Calvary UCC 140 Lexington Avenue, Thomasville, NC, with Rev. Roland Cavanaugh officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will greet friends beginning at 2:00 PM at the church.  Memorials may be given to Calvary UCC or Hospice of Davidson County 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
