Donna Ransom Floyd, age 72, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center.  She was born in Clarion, Pennsylvania on August 13, 1953 to the late Forest Dale and Dolly Pasquarette Ransom.  Donna was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church. She will be remembered for her generosity and also the strength which was shown during her 40-year struggle with Multiple Sclerosis. Donna was a loving and passionate grandmother to Luna Marie and was excited about the arrival of Landry Elizabeth in October.

Surviving is her son, Wesley Floyd (Sydney) of Winston-Salem; granddaughter, Luna Marie Floyd; dear friends, Janet Guy (Keith) and Susie Wolfgong; special niece, Jennifer Kuhn; and several other nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at New Friendship Baptist Church with Pastor Chris Byrne officiating.  Burial will follow the service in the church Cemetery, 4258 Old Lexington Road, Winston-Salem, NC.  The family will greet friends following the interment.
