Donna Lewellyn Yokeley
May 5, 1925 – August 4, 2022
Mrs. Yokeley was a member of the New Mount Vernon UMC community.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Yokeley; her son Donald Yokeley, and her granddaughter, Donna Sink. Surviving are her daughter, Ann (Larry) Parnell; grandchildren, Barry (Kathy) Yokeley, Ronald (Jill) Parnell, Dean (Marcia) Yokeley, Eric (Wendy) Parnell, Ted (Cathy) Sink; great-grandchildren Mary (Andrew) Hutchings, Matthew Yokeley, Ashley (Blaine) Hunter, Hannah Yokeley, Wayne Parnell, Haley Yokeley, Kayla Parnell, Tyler Yokeley, Fayth Cecil, Lexi Hines; and great-great-grandchildren, Beau, William, and Emersyn; as well as extended family and friends; all of whom will miss Donna’s warm hugs and delicious pies.
The family will receive friends Monday night, August 8, 2022 from 6 pm – 8 pm at JC Green and Sons Funeral Home, Wallburg, NC. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at New Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, 6408 Friendship-Ledford Road, Winston-Salem, NC.
