Donna Faye Manley Smith, 67 of Thomasville passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center. Donna was born August 4, 1956 in Raleigh County, Beckley, West Virginia to the late Anna Laura Hurt Smith. She was a member of God’s Whirlwind Ministry and loved Western movies, CSI movies, and traveling to the beach. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Donna Diane Mahan; her son, Michael D. Mahan; her brother, Donald Ray Lilly; and a grandson, Logan Skylar Mahan.

Surviving is her boyfriend, Jimmy Simmons of the home; her three sons, Larry Mahan, Jr. and wife Sharon, Harold Mahan, and Tracy Mahan and wife Melissa, all of Thomasville; daughter, Nancy Heath of San Antonio, TX; granddaughters, Lindsey Mahan, Heidi Mahan, Shianne Mahan, Kimberly Mahan, Kayla Mahan, Kara Mahan, Hayley Mahan, and Kinsley Mahan; and two great-granddaughters, Lainey Webb and Emberlyn Penley.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Thomasville with Rev. Wayne Shortt and Rev. Steve Rich officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
