Donna Marie D'Amico Knox

Mrs. Donna Marie D’Amico Knox, 72, of Thomasville passed away Friday, July 25, 2025 at Hinkle Hospice Home surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born August 8, 1952 in Queens, New York to the late Pietro D’Amico and Joan Minissale D’Amico. She was a professor at Davidson County Community College for many years where she taught Cosmetology. Donna loved life and lived it to the fullest. She enjoyed singing, going to the beach, having her nails done, selling Paparazzi jewelry, and taking part in fantasy football. But her greatest joy in life was the time and memories she made with her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandma and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Peter D’Amico and Joseph D’Amico.

Surviving is her husband of 47 years, Steven Knox of the home; three sons, Rob Knox and wife Tiffany; Ryan Knox and wife Morgan, and Rick Knox and wife Liz; nine grandchildren, Hailey Pait, Brody Knox, Brendon Sims, Kenzie Knox, Kiser Knox, Karter Knox, Justin Diez, Londyn Knox and Megan Diez.  

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Holly Hill Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends Tuesday evening at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM.
